How do nozzles, bottle inversion and spray coverage affect washing?

Internal washing depends on reliable alignment between the bottle opening and the wash media, while inversion and drainage determine whether loosened contamination leaves the bottle.

Mechanical alignment is part of cleaning performance.

A wash process cannot compensate for a nozzle that repeatedly misses the bottle opening or for a bottle that is unstable during inversion. Neck diameter, offset, shoulder shape, pitch, guide position and holder design all influence whether the intended surfaces receive the wash and whether liquid drains rather than carrying soil into the next stage.
